The 127th season of Utah prep football welcomes four new programs to the varsity ranks. That’s the most since 1949 when five schools — Altamont, Alterra, Cedar City, Hurricane and Parowan — began teams. This year, Crimson Cliffs (Washington, Washington County), Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain), Mountain Ridge (Herriman) and Providence Hall (Herriman) start competing.
